Financial Services - Generative AI lead - Application Implementation - HK$ 1M-2M

A technology driven top financial services company with offices around the globe is going to hire their first Artificial Intelligence role within the firm. A highly experienced and skilled talent with expertise in implementing and onboarding Generative/ Traditional AI use cases is what my client looking for.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead the deployment of generative AI initiatives, such as natural language processing applications, drawing upon your deep expertise in the field. Work in tandem with diverse teams to establish project goals, craft detailed plans for execution, and manage the full implementation cycle.
Act as a primary source of technical advice for the creation, development, and deployment of generative AI applications, focusing on prompt engineering to steer foundational model outcomes. Engage in rigorous evaluation of base models for customization, ensuring enhancements in model scalability, efficiency, and performance. Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies within the generative AI landscape to foster innovation and refine project methodologies.
Assume full responsibility for directing project-related tasks, encompassing planning, allocating resources, managing timelines, assessing risks, and resolving issues. Track project progress, uphold milestones, and provide regular updates to all project stakeholders
Forge and maintain productive collaborations with business units, technology vendors, and IT departments to collect requirements, design architectural solutions, and guarantee seamless integration with current systems
Design and implement exhaustive testing protocols to validate the reliability, scalability, and functionality of generative AI solutions. Address any challenges or performance bottlenecks encountered during the rollout phase.
Generate in-depth technical documentation, user manuals, and educational resources to support knowledge sharing and empower end-users with the tools needed to utilize new solutions effectively. Lead instructional sessions and workshops to elucidate the features and advantages of these technologies.
Continuously seek and identify avenues for refining processes, increasing automation, and optimizing operations. Play a crucial role in formulating best practices, standards, and methodologies to elevate the quality and efficiency of generative AI implementations in future projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in IT application implementation
Generative AI Expertise: Strong proficiency in generative AI models, deep learning frameworks, and expertise in leading end-to-end implementation of generative AI solutions. In-depth knowledge of prompt engineering techniques to shape and control model outputs.
Technical Skills: Familiarity and understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
