Private Equity - Senior Accountant

A CFO from a top financial services company with offices around the globe is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team. We are looking for a 5-8 years experienced and skilled talent maintaining accurate accounting records, overseeing financial reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. IDEAL candidate must have experience managing the group's general ledger and accounts payable, preparing monthly consolidated financial statements, and participating in system implementation and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger and accounting books for the Group office, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
Accounts Payable: Review payments and perform bookkeeping for the Group office’s accounts payable transactions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial statements and related schedules for the Group's month-end closing.
Statutory Reporting: Prepare statutory financial statements and related schedules, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
System Implementation: Participate in system testing to support successful implementation.
Project Support: Assist with ad-hoc projects, management analysis, and reporting as needed.
Reporting: Report directly to the Group Financial Controller, providing updates on accounting activities and financial performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related disciplines.
Qualified accountant with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
Solid experience in IFRS, particularly in preparing consolidated accounts for multiple entities.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of managing tight timelines and solving problems effectively.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred, but not essential.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Accountant position.
