Professional Services - Infrastructure Cloud Engineer - HK$60K - 90K

My client is a Global Professional Services firm, the Head of Infrastructure is looking for an experienced, technical and driven Infrastructure Cloud Engineer who is strong in Azure to join the team.

Responsibilities

Maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's requirements for scalability, security, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure needs and develop appropriate solutions to address them.
Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and industry standards for data protection and access control.
Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud services, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks to ensure high availability and reliability.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment and management processes.
Conduct regular system assessments and capacity planning to proactively address future infrastructure needs and support the organization's growth.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, working closely with the support and development teams to provide timely solutions and minimize downtime.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies, recommending and implementing new tools and strategies to improve efficiency and performance.
Document all infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain a comprehensive record of the infrastructure setup.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Requirement:

Proven experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure, with a focus on Azure, PaaS, Iaas
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services, e.g. Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune MDM
Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices in a cloud environment.
Working knowledge of VDI e.g. Windows Virtual Desktops or VMWare Horizon.
Excellent Windows Server Knowledge e.g. Active Directory/DNS/DHCP
Understanding of virtualized infrastructures (VMWARE, Hyper V)
Understanding of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash for automation and infrastructure management would be beneficial
Provide 3rd line technical support, assist 1st/2nd line support escalation
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
